Under The Hood

Create wire cabling routes between circuit boards, lights and coils. These wires generate configuration data to communicate with hardware in a physical game.

With the press of a button, all the data to cut a wooden playfield, cut metal ramps, bend wireforms can be exported to assemble your game.
Pricing
Pinball Designer is a low-priced piece of software, but it comes with many customized upgrade fees when it comes to building physical games. Start here by purchasing the base software which allows you to design and program virtual pinball machines.
If you wish to take your game into a physical product, there is a wide range of individual components you can purchase.

Circuit Boards: $200-$250 This includes all boards necessary to control your game. Price depending on how many lights and coils you have in your game. Flawless integration with Pinball Designer. What you see happening in the virtual Pinball Designer is exactly what you will see happen in the physical game (flippers and mechs, lights, LCD animations, gameplay code).
G-Code Files: $100 This includes main cut, pilot hole top, and pilot hole bottom. Take your g-code file to a local CNC shop or cut yourself.
Playfield Cut: $250 We cut your playfield for you and ship. G-Code files are free.
Playfield Print: $120 Most companies use a direct to playfield print with a clear coat. I do not support this method. I use a method with a poster print glued to the playfield and a plastic sheet applied to protect graphics. The inserts are cut out of the wood and printed art, so this cost includes your printing, cutting, glue and light diffusers. This allows any shape light insert to be cut. Click here for Comparison.
Wire Cabling: $100 Straight cut, stripped and sorted cable assemblies. Crimp and assemble on your own. +$120 Complete plug and play cabling.
Ramp Cut: $100 This is a fee per ramp to have it made.
Wireform: $60-$120 This is a fee per wireform to have it made. $60 for 3D printed joint snaps. $120 for welded wireform.
Playfield Cabinet: $500-$550 Choose between 1/2" re-inforced cabinet vs 3/4" standard. The upside to a slightly thinner cabinet is that it is easier to handle and cheaper to ship.
Cabinet Art: $120 Waterproof, heavy duty poster print.

Complete Backbox: $450 This includes a fully assembled backbox with plastic trim, speaker grill, speakers installed, LCD, a key and your artwork.
