Drop Target Bank Wiring
Pinball Life 3 Drop Target Banks come pre-wired as opto sensors. The GND pin with an arrow is unconnected. The +12V/GND will plug into the Opto +/- on the input board. This is what actually powers the three opto beams on the drop target board. The three opto receivers (Row1, Row2, Row3) will be plugged into the switch board in any of the 8 inputs marked in yellow. The COL pin should be connected to any of the 8 Opto pins on the input board. The three opto receivers share a common output wire, so that is why there are 3 pins in and only 1 pin out.
Scoop Opto Wiring
Pinball Life Scoops have opto beams to detect a ball. The transmitter is white and has designations A/K. The A maps to any Opto+ and the K maps to any Opto-. These power the transmitter. The receiver is black. The boards are not labeled so see the orientation relative to the screw. Blue wire maps to any of the 8 inputs. Red wire maps to any of the Opto read pins.
